Released on blue promovinyl at the MoWest label in stereo, the original tape was not found for the 71B-box of The Complete Motown Singles series. Now the time has come to vol. 10 - 1970, filled with classic songs from a classic year featuring Smokey Robinson, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder among others. All tracks on TCMS collection are transferred from the original mastertapes containing the 7" mono mixes (the first Motown stereo 7" mix appears on vol. 10 "Coming Apart - Allan Nicholls") though for two particular tracks on vol. 10 the original tapes were gone... Throughout the whole TCMS-project the Motown fan LG Nilsson has played an important role with his knowledge and his own 7" collection, including all Motown singles, rare promos etc. The two missing songs - "Expressin' My Love - Stu Gardner" and "My Baby's Love - Arthur Adams" were of course found in the LG- soul-vinyl-catacombs and digitally transferred from the vinyl 7" singles and then digitally cleaned up at Mintelligence by Johan Eckerblad.
